Mental Health and Well-Being Experts

Erasmus Courses Croatia is a centre of expertise in mental health and well-being in education. We help teachers and school staff understand stress and burnout, build resilience and create calmer, more supportive classrooms and schools.

Why teachers need well-being expertise now

Teaching is one of the most demanding professions in Europe. For example, workloads keep growing, classrooms are more diverse and the line between work and private life is getting thinner. As a result, many teachers and school leaders ask the same questions: How do we recognise burnout before it takes hold? How do we manage stress without losing the joy of teaching? Above all, how do we support students’ well-being when our own energy is running low?

We answer these questions with practical methods, not just theory. Therefore, our mental health work rests on European cooperation, psychological expertise and hands-on training. In addition, teachers can apply what they learn the next day, in the classroom and in their own lives.

Our approach: teachers who lead, not just follow

Teacher well-being works when it becomes a daily habit rather than a one-off workshop. Our courses and projects combine psychological knowledge with experiential learning: mindfulness, breathing exercises, outdoor sessions and collaborative workshops. You leave with a toolkit you have already tried yourself.

First, understand the signs, causes and consequences of stress and burnout. Then learn how to protect your mental, emotional and physical health.

Practise evidence-informed techniques that improve focus and calm the nervous system. As a result, build resilience for everyday school life.

Develop healthier routines, time-management skills and self-care habits that make a sustainable balance possible.

Bring well-being into teaching: emotional intelligence, bullying prevention, motivation techniques. Moreover, you will learn how to support learners with special needs and demotivated students.

Building well-being across Europe with strong partners

We do not work alone. Our mental health work brings together adult education organisations, community and arts organisations, well-being practitioners and international partners from several European countries. This mix keeps our approach grounded in what people really need to live and work in a balanced way.

1

Education and training organisations

Partners from Austria, Estonia and Türkiye bring pedagogical know-how and quality standards. They help turn good intentions about well-being into structured, practical learning.

2

Well-being and community practitioners

Organisations with a focus on body, mind and community life bring practical experience of what helps people build healthier habits.

3

Teachers and participants from across Europe

Every course and project is shaped by the people who take part. Their feedback keeps our methods realistic, relevant and ready to use.

4

Psychological expertise at the core

Our well-being training is led by a licensed psychologist with a Master of Arts in developmental psychology, so what we teach rests on a professional foundation.

Proof of expertise: Erasmus+ Balance Your Life project

Our expertise is anchored in the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 cooperation project Balance Your Life (2025–2027), which supports adults across Europe in developing healthier routines, reducing stress and preventing burnout. We work on it with partners from Austria, Estonia, Portugal and Türkiye.
