1. Erasmus+ internship is an opportunity not to be missed
The Erasmus program has already proved to provide incredible opportunities for individuals and groups. Internship is only one of them. Students in higher education can take on an Erasmus+ internship that lasts between two and twelve months in order to gain experience in their chosen field as well as the experience of working in a different country in an international environment.
We all know that transition phase from education to the labour market is not easy so any experience gained prior to searching for your first job can prove to be invaluable in later life. It will not only look good on your CV but it will help you develop new skills, improve your knowledge of certain fields you have studied and meet new people from all EU member states as well as other countries. We have already hosted almost a 100 interns from many European countries such as Sweden, Italy, Germany, Slovakia, Romania, the UK, Latvia, Austria and France. They all gained valuable experience in the fields of IT, digital marketing, foreign language teaching, methodology, pedagogy, copywriting, graphic design, linguistics, journalism and web design, administration and EU project management.
2. Application for Erasmus+ internship is very easy
The most important thing is to have ambition and will to spend some time abroad. Then you should register on erasmusintern.org, search for your field of study or anything related to it and then search for our sister organisation “Pappagallo, foreign language school” in Croatia. Send us your application and after a selection process we will invite you for an interview to get to know you a little bit. Then we are going to invite you to join us for as many months as you like and gladly be your hosting organisation that will provide hands-on, practical experience.
3. Croatia is an amazing country
This is a perfect opportunity to have fun, explore a foreign country and its culture and develop your individual and social skills in the meantime. You are going to find yourself in a beautiful Mediterranean country with rich cultural heritage, breath-taking nature, mild climate, friendly people and excellent cuisine. This is a country where every season has something to offer, but if you come during summer, you can enjoy world famous ULTRA music festival, or open air theatre plays, ferry boats will take you island hopping and clear blue waters will call for a swim. Autumn and winter are quieter months that will allow you to get to know Croatia when it is not filled with tourists and you can enjoy live concerts and experience the life of locals. Spring is beautiful with its many colours and warm, sunny days with everyone getting ready for the summer season. Whenever you choose to come, you may not want to leave. Cities like Trogir, Dubrovnik, Šibenik, Zadar, Plitvice National Park and Krka are also well-worth a visit any time of year.
