I had a very mindful week in Split partaking in the course: Building better mental health and wellbeing. The methods we were introduced to will be helpful in managing the everyday stress of teaching. It was great to have a local teacher, who could share info about the Croatian culture as well as the course material. The additional social program was lovely as well and the guides provided us with insights into Croatian history and culture and showed us some truly special places.Posted on Heidi Kohi2026-08-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We spent seven days in Split attending the course “Inclusion & Diversity in the Classroom – Teaching Empathy, Mindfulness & Critical Thinking.” The course was extremely well organised, and our teachers, Dario and Ivana, were absolutely incredibly professional and skilled. The classes were held in air-conditioned classrooms, which was especially welcome in the August heat, and the topics were truly interesting and thought-provoking. There were plenty of hands-on activities, and the course provided lots of practical ideas both for our own well-being and for supporting students and building a positive group atmosphere. The ideas will be easy to adapt and apply in our own work. Both Dario and Ivana were exceptionally attentive to everyone in the group and managed to take the different personalities and needs of the participants into account in all the activities. There was never a shortage of humour, laughter or fun during the lessons! The days were skilfully structured, with a great balance between classroom activities and activities outside the school. We also had the opportunity to learn about the local history and culture, while still having enough time to connect and build relationships with colleagues from other parts of Europe. Despite the August heat, the days simply flew by. In fact, the only downside of the course was that it ended far too quickly! A warm recommendation for this course, and a huge thank you once again to our absolutely wonderful, fun and talented teachers, Dario and Ivana, for these enriching and inspiring days! I truly hope we will meet again someday! Pomalo!Posted on Simka Kolenčíková2026-08-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Latest Digital, ICT & AI Solutions for Educators – an Erasmus+ course in Split I had a wonderful experience during my Erasmus+ course in Split. From the very beginning, everything was very well organised, and the atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and welcoming. I really appreciated Dario’s support and approach during the introductory presentations. A special thank you goes to my trainer, Mimi, who taught us so many useful and inspiring things. I have already started thinking about how I can use what I learned in my own teaching practice. Mimi was not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also a genuinely kind and inspiring person. I really appreciate people who approach their work with such enthusiasm, dedication and love. I would also like to thank the whole Erasmus Courses Croatia team for being so kind, helpful and supportive throughout the course. Everything was organised perfectly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I truly enjoyed my time in Split and would be very happy to come back again — hopefully next time together with my colleagues. Highly recommended! 🇭🇷💙Posted on Mario Marinucci2026-08-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Erasmus Courses Croatia have a perfect idea how to provide the possibility for all participants to build up and widen the international network. The courses have really professional and well structured programs that support my everyday work in several fields. The outdoor activities give brand new ideas to experience the goals of courses. For me the most impressive people was my mentor, my trainer Dario. His connection to the participants, his professionalism and charming personality made my experience complex and wonderful. Be part of this experience ❤️Posted on ANNUNZIATA DI MARIA2026-08-08Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A wonderful and truly meaningful course in Split. I especially appreciated the focus on mindfulness and the importance of being present in the moment. The activities in the park, particularly the blindfold walking exercise, were a powerful experience and gave me new ideas to bring into my personal and professional practice. Thank you, Dario and Ivana for this inspiring experience. I hope to continue exploring these practices and, perhaps, to have the opportunity to bring this experience to our school in Naples in the future!Posted on Dumitras Carmen2026-08-08Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Teachers feel they have to live up to many expectations in the 21st century.
They are expected to successfully guide students through many difficult learning stages and ensure good grades and students’ satisfaction & well being. They are expected to motivate and understand students, give good feedback and remain positive throughout the academic process. Furthermore, they often juggle between students’ feelings, parents’ expectations and societal pressures. Their job is often viewed as minimally demanding yet safe, with ‘too many’ vacation days yet too few contact hours. This often leads to job dissatisfaction and possibly burnout.

This course emphasizes a positive approach to working in the school system. We will learn how to make stress our friend, focus on positive affirmations, learn how to let go of the negative self-talk. Gratitude will be practiced, humor will be used, self-motivating methods will be implemented. We will explore strategies such as emotional management, self-control, building empathy and compassion to rediscover resilience and render life more manageable and pleasant.

The ultimate goal is to flourish in a state of well-being whilst recognizing our own strengths and setting our auto-pilot to positive. We will achieve this through teambuilding exercises that foster a sense of belonging which can, in turn, be projected onto our students. By identifying and analyzing the strengths necessary for achieving well-being and behaving resiliently, we will collaborate to find ways of navigating emotional highs and lows in ways that promote mental, emotional, and physical health.
Our resident psychologist and Mindfulness instructor, Dario Caljkusic, holds an Honors degree from Lewis & Clark College, in Portland, Ore, USA. His course is both engaging and thought-provoking, entertaining yet introspective. As our former course participants Jane, Mette, Ditte & Lise-Lotte from Denmark wrote about Dario: “Thank you so much for the most exciting course. You have been fantastic, motivating teacher.”
