COURSE DESCRIPTION

Empower Students and Strengthen Their Confidence

This Erasmus+ KA1 course aims to raise awareness and provide strategies to address socio-economic challenges and other factors that influence young people’s educational paths. Early school leaving increases the risk of unemployment and social exclusion. By identifying students at risk early, teachers can significantly reduce dropout rates.

The course emphasizes boosting self-esteem, nurturing students’ self-worth, and recognizing emotionally or behaviorally vulnerable students. Participants will learn to guide learners toward becoming self-aware, motivated, and empowered individuals who understand the importance of education for their future.

Fostering an Inclusive and Engaging Classroom

Our experienced Erasmus trainers will show participants how to create meaningful, supportive learning environments that cater to diverse classrooms and help prevent early school leaving. The course explores creative teaching methods using games, drama, storytelling, and collaborative activities to increase student engagement and motivation.

Integrating Technology to Support Learning

Participants will gain practical knowledge of ICT tools that enhance teaching and learning. Web-based and mobile learning applications will be explored to maintain students’ interest and promote interactive learning, helping to keep learners engaged and motivated.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Utilize a variety of ICT teaching tools and strategies to make lessons engaging and innovative.
• Apply methods that increase students’ confidence, self-worth, and trust in their abilities.
• Identify causes of early school leaving and develop approaches to support at-risk or disengaged students.
• Enhance students’ sense of belonging and self-awareness.
• Incorporate mindfulness practices into teaching and learning.
