COURSE DESCRIPTION

Become a Modern 21st-Century Language Educator

This Erasmus+ KA1 programme has been developed by language teachers specifically for fellow educators in the field of foreign languages.
The constant push for innovation in the 21st century encourages the creation of new, engaging methodological approaches.
Throughout the course, participants will learn how to apply blended learning—combining traditional instruction with digital media—as well as mobile learning strategies and elements of gamification to enrich their teaching practice.

Apply Contemporary Methods & Boost Student Involvement

Today’s classrooms require foreign language educators to make use of fresh, interactive techniques.
During this course, participants will deepen their understanding of modern methods that play a central role in updating and improving language instruction.
More than ever, it is essential that students take part in content creation themselves, forming a student-centered environment where hands-on, practical learning is emphasized.

Motivate Learners Through Interactive Tools

Every language teacher aims to maintain students’ interest and motivate them to stay engaged.
For this reason, our experienced Erasmus trainers will highlight the value of incorporating games, quizzes, and digital interactive materials into lessons.
Participants will learn how to design these resources efficiently using a variety of supportive tools, enabling them to create motivating materials in a short amount of time.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Participants will develop the following competences:

• Learn how to integrate digital technologies into foreign language teaching
• Implement ICT tools to create engaging, fun, and meaningful learning, teaching, and assessment experiences
• Prepare for the use of various applications, platforms, and digital resources
• Apply information and communication technologies in the classroom to stimulate motivation and creativity
• Use tools such as Plickers, QR Codes, Google Forms for Escape Rooms, Goosechase, Jeopardy-style games, board games, Wordwall, Quizlet, and Flipgrid
• Incorporate project-based learning and nurture critical thinking
• Gain inspiration to use digital tools confidently and learn how to create high-quality presentations
