COURSE DESCRIPTION

Welcome to the exciting journey of learning English! This Erasmus+ course is designed for school teachers and educators who have little to no prior knowledge of the English language. Whether you are starting from the very beginning or have had minimal exposure, this course provides the essential skills to communicate effectively. At Maksima Teacher Training Centre, you will gain foundational English knowledge and connect with fellow teachers from across the globe.

English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. By participating in Erasmus+ Courses in Croatia, you will unlock opportunities to communicate with people from diverse countries, explore different communities and cultures, and expand your understanding of tolerance, diversity, and global perspectives.

Build a Strong Language Foundation

The course begins with the basics, ensuring you develop a solid foundation for future learning. Focus will be placed on essential skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Through interactive lessons, practical activities, and meaningful conversations, you will gradually build confidence and proficiency in English. You will also learn how to apply these skills in classroom practice and in Erasmus project work.

Practical Beginner-Level Lessons

Lessons are tailored specifically for absolute beginners. Topics include greetings and introductions, daily routines, expressing emotions, describing people and objects, asking for directions, and much more. Participants will also explore English grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure to construct clear and effective sentences. Language challenges, questions, and active participation in class discussions are encouraged to reinforce learning.

By the end of the course, you will have gained a solid grounding in English and will be ready to continue with more advanced language studies.
