Course Description
Cultural heritage is the bridge between past and present, and digital technology offers exciting opportunities to bring it alive for students. This course is designed for educators who want to combine history, art, and local culture with modern digital tools to create engaging, interactive learning experiences.
Participants will explore ways to use digital storytelling, virtual tours, 3D modeling, augmented reality, and interactive apps to teach cultural heritage in dynamic and memorable ways. You’ll gain hands-on experience designing projects that make history tangible and relevant, while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and intercultural understanding.

BRING CULTURE TO LIFE WITH TECHNOLOGY
Students today are digital natives, and learning is most effective when it connects to their world.
In this module, participants will learn how to integrate digital tools into cultural heritage lessons — from exploring historical sites online to creating multimedia presentations and interactive exhibitions.
Teachers will discover ways to make museums, monuments, and local traditions accessible to all students, whether in the classroom or through blended and remote learning environments.

INTERACTIVE PROJECT-BASED LEARNING
Hands-on, project-based approaches help students experience culture rather than just memorize facts.
Educators will learn to guide students in designing their own cultural projects, documenting fieldwork, creating digital stories, and collaborating in teams.
This approach encourages critical thinking, curiosity, and creativity, while building digital literacy skills and an appreciation for heritage at local, national, and European levels.

CULTURAL HERITAGE AND EUROPEAN CONNECTIONS
Participants will explore ways to link local heritage to European cultural networks, teaching students about shared history, diversity, and European identity.
This course highlights cross-cultural collaboration, encouraging teachers to design projects that connect their classrooms to peers across Europe through online platforms and Erasmus+ initiatives.
