COURSE DESCRIPTION

Practical Classroom Management for Modern Educators

This course is designed for teachers who wish to gain strong control over their classrooms while promoting active participation and engaged learning. Participants will explore methods for building rapport with students and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. Classroom management through reflection and teacher observation will also be covered, along with establishing clear rules and expectations.

Motivation and Student Engagement

The course emphasizes motivational strategies focused on attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. Teachers will learn how to structure group work and pairings to enhance engagement, and receive practical tips for helping students reflect on their own classroom behavior.

Innovative Assessment Techniques

Participants will be introduced to modern assessment tools and techniques that improve the effectiveness of student evaluation. These methods will help educators understand individual learning needs and adapt instruction to enhance academic performance.

Tips for Smooth Classroom Operation

The course will provide guidance for running a well-organized classroom with clear rules, effective behavior management, and strategies for fostering a positive learning environment.

Dario Caljkusic, our resident psychologist and mindfulness instructor with an Honors degree from Lewis & Clark College, Portland, USA, leads the course. Participants have described his teaching as both engaging and thought-provoking, blending entertainment with introspection.
