In today’s fast-paced world, where digital technology often replaces face-to-face interaction, many students experience growing social distance and difficulties in forming meaningful relationships. Fostering empathy and healthy relationships in the classroom has become essential to create safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments.

Course Description

This Erasmus+ course in Split offers practical tools and strategies for teachers to cultivate empathy, respect, and strong interpersonal connections within their classrooms. Participants will explore techniques for effective communication, conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and social-emotional learning, while addressing the challenges of digital communication and social isolation.

Through interactive workshops, group activities, and reflection, educators will develop skills to nurture positive peer relationships and promote a culture of kindness and understanding. The course also tackles issues like bullying, exclusion, and cultural differences, providing approaches to build inclusive communities where every student feels valued despite the distancing effects of modern life and technology.

FOSTER EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
