This Erasmus+ KA1 course will turn you into a Canva Pro—empowering you to create visually engaging lessons, fun posts, interactive videos, or professional school branding with zero design experience. Through hands-on projects, you’ll unlock Canva’s secrets, including Magic AI tools, collaboration features, and game-based templates, while connecting with educators across Europe.

As part of this course, you’ll learn how to access Canva Pro for free through Canva for Education – a special program just for teachers. We’ll guide you through the simple verification process using your school email, which unlocks powerful features you’ll use in our workshops: AI design tools, animated templates, and bulk creation for certificates and lesson materials.

Learning the Basics

You will start by understanding how to use this design tool easily. Learn to make your teaching materials look better with ready-made layouts, different letter styles, and color matching. Soon you’ll be able to create different school papers and classroom designs easily. In a short practice activity, you’ll make your first Canva lesson design very quickly.

Making Moving and Interactive Materials

Learn how to create teaching materials that students can interact with. Make presentations or educational videos with moving pictures and sound. The tool’s smart features will help you change pictures and text fast.

Creating School Documents and Style

Learn fast ways to make many certificates at once for your students. You’ll be able to design school newsletters, social media posts, and event information that all look like they belong together. In a practice session, you’ll work on making all your school materials look professional with matching colors and logos.

Fun Learning Activities

Turn normal lessons into fun games and projects. Your students can work together to make different school projects look professional. You’ll learn how to save all these creations in different ways to use in class or share online.
