COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Enhance assessment literacy, gain valuable skills in various assessment techniques, and transform evaluations into impactful learning opportunities
This course is designed to cater to the diverse needs of teachers, regardless of their level of experience. Its primary goal is to enhance teachers’ understanding and proficiency in assessment literacy, surpassing conventional test scores and evaluations. By participating in this course, teachers will gain valuable skills and insights into various assessment techniques, with a particular emphasis on formative assessments. These formative assessments will empower teachers to transform evaluations into impactful learning opportunities and cultivate a deeper understanding of the “how” and “why” behind tasks.
Develop proficiency in formative assessment techniques, digital tool utilization for engaging assessments, and essential soft skills
Throughout the course, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of formative assessment activities and explore the use of digital tools for engaging assessments. They will also have the chance to participate in discussions centered around classroom dynamics, collaborative learning, and peer assessment. In addition to these technical aspects, the course will also focus on the development of essential soft skills that will enable teachers to confidently implement new assessment methods in their classrooms.
