This is an excellent course to learn more about your reactions in situations of stress and pressure. Our teacher Dario is a warm and engaged guide to make you feel better about yorself and your work Split is a very beautiful city and have fantastic environments that helps you to become more mindful. The week has provided lots of laughter whith the other participants and all the teachers! Thank you Croathia and especially Dario for this experience!

The Mindfulness/mental health course was really good. Our course leader Dario was fantastic and well educated. Got a lot of tools to use at home. Yoga-teacher Nikola was so pleasant and encouraging. Good organisation and loads of courses in different places. I hope I get the opportunity to attend another.

 COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Enhance assessment literacy, gain valuable skills in various assessment techniques, and transform evaluations into impactful learning opportunities

This course is designed to cater to the diverse needs of teachers, regardless of their level of experience. Its primary goal is to enhance teachers’ understanding and proficiency in assessment literacy, surpassing conventional test scores and evaluations. By participating in this course, teachers will gain valuable skills and insights into various assessment techniques, with a particular emphasis on formative assessments. These formative assessments will empower teachers to transform evaluations into impactful learning opportunities and cultivate a deeper understanding of the “how” and “why” behind tasks.

Develop proficiency in formative assessment techniques, digital tool utilization for engaging assessments, and essential soft skills

Throughout the course, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of formative assessment activities and explore the use of digital tools for engaging assessments. They will also have the chance to participate in discussions centered around classroom dynamics, collaborative learning, and peer assessment. In addition to these technical aspects, the course will also focus on the development of essential soft skills that will enable teachers to confidently implement new assessment methods in their classrooms.

Enhance student engagement in your classroom

A key aspect of the course involves reflection on participants’ current assessment practices and the analysis of modern approaches. Teachers will be encouraged to design tailored assessment tools and create evaluation criteria and rubrics specific to their teaching context.
