DUBROVNIK – Start Here: English Course for Absolute Beginners

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Welcome to the world of English learning! This Erasmus+ course is designed for teachers and school staff with little or no previous knowledge of the English language. It offers a friendly, supportive environment where you can build the basic skills needed for everyday communication. In Maksima Teacher Training Centre, you will learn essential English and meet colleagues from different countries, making the experience both educational and inspiring.

English is one of the most widely used languages in international communication. By learning English with Erasmus+ Courses Croatia, you open the door to new opportunities, cultural exchange, and a better understanding of diversity. The course helps you use English in simple daily situations and supports you in applying basic English skills in the classroom and in Erasmus project writing.

The program begins from the very foundations of the language, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Lessons include practical vocabulary, useful expressions, and simple grammar that help you create clear sentences. Through interactive tasks, games, role-play, and guided conversations, you will slowly build confidence and develop basic communication skills.

Topics include greetings, personal introductions, daily routines, describing people and objects, expressing feelings, asking for directions, and more. The course also creates space for questions, practice, and active participation, helping you overcome language barriers in a relaxed atmosphere.

By the end of the course, you will have a strong beginner-level foundation and will be ready to continue improving your English independently or through further training.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Participants will:
