COURSE DESCRIPTION
Learn about the importance of Eco-Art in education
This Erasmus+ KA1 course is designed to empower educators with the knowledge and skills needed to seamlessly integrate eco-art practices into their teaching methodologies.
In our ever-evolving world, the need for environmental consciousness has never been more urgent. Erasmus Courses Croatia recognizes the pivotal role educators play in shaping the minds of tomorrow and believes that eco-art is the key to unlocking a deeper understanding of ecological principles. This course is a gateway to pedagogical experience where art becomes a catalyst for environmental awareness and sustainable living, but also it’s a journey towards inspiring the next generation to become stewards of the Earth through the powerful medium of art.
Experience a hands-on approach to learning and connecting with nature through art in beautiful Split, Croatia
The participants will engage in a dynamic exploration of how art can be a force for positive change in nature and discover innovative ways to engage students in meaningful conversations about pressing environmental issues, from climate change to resource depletion.
During the program, participants will learn about different teaching methods and useful tools to incorporate eco-art across different educational subjects. By using recycled materials and natural resources, the participants will have the opportunity to collaborate through various hands-on, project-based activities and workshops that encourage creativity. The activities will focus on the web of interrelationships and actions in our environment that are in different ways threatening to our natural resources – soil, atmosphere and water.
Creative solutions and green practices for future education
This eco-art course aims to inspire teachers and encourage a long-term relationship between social structures and natural environments through communication, participation and education.
