DUBROVNIK – Effective Classroom Management for Educators – Modern Strategies, Assessment, and Motivation

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed for teachers who want to achieve effective classroom control while fostering active participation and engaged learning. Participants will explore strategies for building strong rapport with students and creating a positive and supportive classroom environment. Techniques for classroom reflection and teacher observation will also be covered, alongside best practices for establishing clear rules and expectations.

Enhancing Motivation and Engagement

The program emphasizes motivational strategies that focus on attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. Participants will learn to utilize group work and small-team activities to enhance student motivation. Additionally, teachers will receive practical guidance on encouraging students to reflect on their own behavior and take responsibility for their learning experience.

Innovative Assessment Techniques

Teachers will gain insights into modern assessment tools and methods designed to improve the effectiveness of student evaluations. By adopting these innovative techniques, educators can better understand individual student needs, adapt instruction accordingly, and promote improved academic outcomes. The course also provides practical tips for maintaining a smooth and well-structured classroom through clear rules and consistent procedures.

Expert Guidance and Engaging Instruction

The course is led by our resident psychologist and Mindfulness instructor, Dario Caljkusic, who holds an Honors degree from Lewis & Clark College, Portland, USA. Dario’s sessions are both engaging and thought-provoking, blending entertainment with introspection.
