Myself and 2 of my colleagues came to Split Croatia to do a 5 day course on Successful Teaching in a Mixed Ability Classroom (Meeting the needs of gifted students). From the begining, all of the staff made us feel so welcome and were such a joy to be around. They hosted numerous different activities for us including the international table, which brought everyone together to sample some of their local cuisines and mingle with peers from so many different countries! The classes were made to be a really relaxed environment whilst also being very interesting and informative. The guided walking tour of split was a highlight for us as it allowed us to view such a beautiful city whilst being told about its rich and vibrant history. I cannot reccommend these courses enough! We are already planning our next one! Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome, for your guidence and for making us laugh so many times!!! Lots of love from Ireland!!! I recently attended the Erasmus+ course "Building Better Mental Health and Well-Being" in Split, Croatia, and it was an exceptional experience. The course focused on promoting well-being in education, preventing burnout, managing stress, and creating a happier and more engaging school environment. Through mindfulness activities, breathing exercises, outdoor learning, Brain Gym techniques, and collaborative workshops. What made this course truly special was Dario, the main trainer. His energy, passion, and expertise transformed every session into an engaging and enjoyable learning experience. He has a unique talent for combining meaningful content with interactive activities. His classes were dynamic, motivating, and genuinely fun, and he created a welcoming atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable participating and sharing ideas. Another highlight was the opportunity to meet teachers from different countries, exchange experiences, and learn about diverse educational systems and approaches. The cultural activities in Split were also a wonderful addition, allowing us to discover the local heritage while building international connections. I highly recommend it to any educator interested in well-being, innovative teaching practices, and international collaboration. Thank you to Dario and the entire team for an unforgettable week!Posted on June Cunningham2026-07-17Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Attending this Erasmus course in Croatia was one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences I’ve had. From the very beginning, we were welcomed into a relaxed and supportive environment where everyone felt comfortable and included. The course centred on mindfulness, relaxation, and the Croatian philosophy of “Pomalo”—taking life a little more slowly, appreciating the present moment, and finding balance. It wasn’t just something we learned about; it was something we truly experienced throughout the course. Our instructor, Dario, was simply outstanding. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly charismatic. He had a wonderful way of bringing everyone together, making each person feel seen, heard, and valued. His passion for mindfulness and wellbeing was inspiring, and he shared his knowledge with warmth, humour, and genuine care. He created a positive atmosphere where learning felt effortless and enjoyable. I came away with practical mindfulness and relaxation techniques that I can use every day, but I also left with wonderful memories, new friendships, and a deeper appreciation for the Croatian way of life. Thank you, Dario, and everyone involved, for such a meaningful and unforgettable experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend this Erasmus course to anyone looking to invest in their wellbeing while enjoying the beauty, hospitality, and culture of Croatia. Pomalo is more than just a word—it’s a way of living that I’ll carry with me long after returning home. I hope to return to Croatia one day. It has left a lasting impression on me, and I will always be grateful for this inspiring experience. Hvala! 🇭🇷 From your Irish sister, JunePosted on Zrinka2026-07-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently attended the mindfulness course with Erasmus Courses Croatia on the stunning island of Aruba, and it exceeded every expectation. The trainers were absolutely incredible—their warmth, deep expertise, and genuine support created a perfect environment for growth and reflection. What truly sets this course apart, though, is the quality of the mindfulness course materials. They are incredibly valuable, practical, and beautifully structured, giving me powerful tools that I will use both in my personal life and professional career for years to come. Combining world-class training with the breathtaking backdrop of Aruba made this an absolute dream. I cannot recommend this experience enough!Posted on Aphrodite Gkiouris2026-07-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My Erasmus+ mobility in Split, Croatia, representing ETALarissa , a highly active Greek English Teacher's Association ,was an extremely valuable and inspiring professional experience. Throughout the course, I gained practical knowledge about innovative teaching methods, CLIL, AI-supported lesson planning, conflict resolution, and the Croatian education system through workshops, presentations, and job-shadowing activities. Equally important was the opportunity to exchange ideas and good practices with educators from different countries, creating meaningful professional connections and expanding my intercultural awareness. The course was very well organised, with knowledgeable trainers who encouraged active participation, collaboration, and reflection. I particularly appreciated the balance between theoretical input and hands-on activities, as well as the emphasis on creativity, inclusion, and student-centred learning. The cultural programme, including visits to local landmarks, further enriched the experience by helping us better understand Croatian history, culture, and society while strengthening relationships among participants. One suggestion for improvement and my main complaint about my teacher training experience there, concerns the timing of JOB SHADOWING mobilities. Since the main purpose of JOB SHADOWING is to observe authentic school life and classroom practice, these courses would be more beneficial if they were organised only during periods when schools are open and operating. This would allow participants to gain a more complete understanding of everyday teaching and school routines. Overall, apart from the fact that that was an Erasmus+ course and NOT Job Shadowing, the overall Erasmus+ experience in Split exceeded my expectations and has provided me with new ideas, skills, and confidence that I will apply in my teaching. I also look forward to sharing the knowledge and good practices I acquired with my colleagues through ETAL Larissa, ensuring that the benefits of this mobility extend to our English Teachers' Association and its members.Posted on Ciara Lynch2026-07-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I did a truly fantastic course with the teacher Dario and I didn't want it to end! From start to finish is was simply fantastic- Mindfulness. I gained so much knowledge and understanding from it. There were wonderful resources and techniques too! As someone that uses small amounts of it already it was an eyeopener and in such a relaxed and chill environment. I would love to do this course again - it was the chill yet the most insightful course I've taken - absolutely loved it and Dario was the dream Erasmus educator - thank you so much everyone! Split was a stunning location too!! I loved the city!!
