Environmental awareness – THINK BLUE – Save Seas and Waters for the Sustainable Future

This Erasmus+ KA1 course has been designed for educators, teachers, school staff and principals in order to develop their consciousness and understanding of the climate change, sustainability and environmental protection. To save seas and waters is important challenge for future.

Get Introduced to the Aquatic World of the Mediterranean

Global warming may seem inevitable, but there is still time to make an impact on the mindsets of the younger generation, which is why we must take action into our own hands and learn how to educate others about sustainable living. Being located in the beautiful Mediterranean city of Split gives us great opportunity to fully dive into the topic of environmental awareness and the importance of saving seas and waters for future.

Develop Your Understanding of the Environment in Both Theory and Practice

Our Erasmus+ KA1 teacher training course is going to guide you through main topics such as learning about what environment exactly is. Learning about pollution and what it means to us.

Our experienced Erasmus teacher trainers will take you directly to the seaside where will be able to learn on the beach and waterfront, while walking by the sea, getting to know its importance and strength. In addition, we are also going to take you to know the beating pulse of Dalmatia, its rivers and streams. This will help us raise awareness of the aquatic environments.

Share Gained Knowledge With Students & Raise Their Environmental Awareness

Practical strategies and activities for understanding aquatic environments are at the very core of our course. For this reason, you are going to learn practical ways to deal with difficult environmental problems with your students.

As our final target group are students, it is important not only to adapt new strategies in our own daily habits, but to be able to transfer this knowledge to our students as well. Influencing their own habits and changing their own perspective for their future. This is why we are going to guide you through the process of presenting aquatic environments to students in a classroom setting.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Participant is going to acquire the following competences:

• Develop their consciousness and understanding of the climate change, sustainability and environmental protection
• Learn in aquatic environment of Adriatic sea and rivers and streams of Dalmatia
• Get acquainted with benefits of Outdoor learning
• Explore practical ways of dealing with environmental issues
• Implement gained knoweldge with students in classrooom setting
