COURSE DESCRIPTION

Nurture cooperation among your students

In today’s rapidly evolving digital era, many young people find themselves increasingly disconnected from those around them. To help bridge this gap, we created this Erasmus+ KA1 course for teachers who believe it is time to rebuild meaningful connections among their students and support their emotional well-being. Teamwork enhances student performance, fosters supportive peer networks, and broadens understanding of diverse viewpoints—making it an essential element of modern education. Our experienced Erasmus trainers and psychological experts will guide you in enriching your teaching practice through collaborative strategies that can also help prevent early school leaving.

Promote healthy group dynamics & prioritize well-being

A central focus of this course is improving the overall well-being within the classroom by strengthening group cohesion—one of the key foundations of effective learning environments. Mindfulness and stress-reduction techniques play an important role in this process, helping both students and teachers remain calm, attentive, and emotionally aware. Because diversity and inclusion are core aspects of teamwork, we will explore how to design a classroom atmosphere where differences are appreciated, engagement is high, and students feel comfortable and supported. As inherently social beings, students thrive when empathy, trust, and belonging are nurtured. By incorporating mindfulness practices and recognizing stress triggers, you will learn how to cultivate a safe and motivating space that keeps students connected to school and reduces dropout risk.

Increase students’ motivation and self-confidence

Through a series of practical activities, we will build a classroom environment where learners are attentive, motivated, and relaxed. Special emphasis will be placed on designing lesson plans that integrate teamwork, active listening, and cooperative tasks. The goal is to promote mental well-being for both teachers and students, ensuring the classroom becomes a place where strong bonds, empathy, and healthy group dynamics can flourish. You will also discover how to implement constructive competition, prevent conflicts, support conflict resolution, and ultimately help students develop greater confidence.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Participants will develop the ability to:

• Integrate mindfulness and stress-management techniques to create calm, emotionally supportive classroom environments
