COURSE DESCRIPTION

Refine and Elevate Your Soft Skills

This Erasmus+ KA1 training is created for educators and school personnel who want to further develop their soft skills—key components for maintaining strong and effective teaching practices. Throughout the course, participants will expand a range of essential soft skills and discover methods for inspiring their students to cultivate these abilities as well. These 21st-century competencies include adaptability, communication, creative problem-solving, teamwork, decision-making, time organization, motivation, critical thinking, conflict handling, and overall professional attitude. Such skills are especially valuable when supporting learners with special needs or managing mixed-ability classrooms.

Grow Emotional Intelligence

During this Erasmus training, you will examine the impact of emotional intelligence on how we relate to others and how we understand ourselves. Emotional intelligence combines both interpersonal and intrapersonal capacities, helping us regulate our emotions and respond appropriately to the emotions of those around us. It plays a vital role in communication, learning outcomes, academic progress, and future employment. By strengthening your emotional intelligence, you will enhance self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, and build meaningful, positive connections with students and colleagues.

Apply Mindfulness & Reduce Emotional Exhaustion

Participants will also explore how mindfulness techniques contribute to developing emotional intelligence and how they can serve as valuable tools in reducing stress, minimizing burnout, and supporting efforts to prevent bullying in school environments.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Participants will gain the following competencies:

• Understand soft skills and learn strategies to help students develop and refine them
• Build strong, positive relationships with students and coworkers by enhancing emotional intelligence
• Strengthen self-awareness and improve emotional self-management
• Learn about the role emotional intelligence plays in communication, academic achievement, and future employability
• Practice mindfulness and understand how it can be implemented effectively
• Acquire knowledge about assessing and fostering emotional intelligence
• Improve adaptability, communication, attitude, creative thinking, teamwork, time management, motivation, decision-making, and related soft skills
• Develop abilities that enhance empathy, self-motivation, emotional balance, and interpersonal relationships
