This Erasmus+ KA1 course is crafted for teachers, educators, school leaders, and staff who wish to expand their understanding of climate change, sustainability, and environmental protection. Safeguarding our seas and freshwater ecosystems is one of the most significant challenges of the coming decades, and this course aims to strengthen awareness and inspire meaningful action.

Explore the Mediterranean’s Aquatic Ecosystems

While global warming may appear unavoidable, there is still time to influence young people’s attitudes and encourage sustainable lifestyles. Situated in the stunning Mediterranean city of Split, this course offers a unique chance to experience firsthand the importance of preserving seas and waters. Immersed in this coastal setting, participants can better grasp the urgency of nurturing environmental consciousness.

Strengthen Your Environmental Knowledge Through Theory and Hands-On Learning

Throughout this Erasmus+ KA1 training, participants will be introduced to essential topics such as what constitutes an environment, the impact of pollution, and how environmental changes affect daily life.
Our experienced trainers will guide you along the seaside, allowing you to learn outdoors—on beaches, near the waterfront, and by the sea—while discovering the power and value of aquatic ecosystems. You will also explore rivers and streams of Dalmatia, gaining insights into the region’s distinctive freshwater systems and the need to protect them.

Share Your Knowledge With Students & Inspire Their Environmental Responsibility

At the heart of this course are practical strategies for understanding and teaching about aquatic environments. You will learn actionable methods for addressing environmental challenges together with your students.
Since students ultimately benefit from these practices, the course will also help you translate your new knowledge into your classroom, shaping young minds to develop healthier habits, informed perspectives, and a deeper respect for water ecosystems. You will receive guidance on presenting aquatic topics in engaging and meaningful ways.
