Our Teachers Lead, Write, and Shape Croatian Education

Meet the educators behind our courses, and the recent achievements that show why they are among the best.

At Erasmus Courses Croatia, every course is designed and taught by real, working educators. Therefore, they are not just people who know their subject. They are teachers who are recognized by their peers, by the media, and by the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth. In recent months, three members of our team have given us even more reasons to be proud.t

Vesna Dobronić: Promoted to Excellent Advisor

Vesna Dobronić has been promoted to the title of Excellent Advisor (izvrsni savjetnik), the highest professional advancement title for teachers in Croatia. The title is earned through years of outstanding practice, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to the teaching profession as a whole. For our students, it means learning from someone who is trusted to guide other teachers, too.

Mirjana Gacina Bilin: Recognized for the 7th Year in a Row

Mirjana Gacina Bilin, Professor of Mathematics and Informatics at the Health School in Split, has once again been named among Croatia’s most successful educational professionals by the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth. This is the seventh consecutive year she has received this recognition.

Moreover, her impact reaches well beyond her own classroom. Mirjana collaborates with the renowned publishing house Školska knjiga, organizes workshops as part of the national e-Schools project, and consistently promotes innovation and digital transformation in education. She inspires students and fellow teachers alike.

Jakov Bajić: From Teacher to Author

Jakov Bajić has written and published a book, The Wanderer’s Guide to Split, and it has already caught the attention of the Croatian media, including a feature on Portal.hr. Writing a book takes more than knowledge. It takes creativity, discipline, and the ability to explain things in a way people want to read. These are exactly the qualities our students benefit from in the classroom.

One Team, Many Outstanding Teachers

Vesna, Mirjana, and Jakov are proud members of our team, and they are only part of it. They stand alongside many other outstanding teachers who bring the same expertise, passion, and dedication to every course we offer.

What This Means for You

When you learn with us, you are not learning from a script. You are taught by people who are shaping how Croatia teaches, not just following along. Their experience, recognition, and love of the profession are built into every lesson.

Congratulations to Vesna, Mirjana, and Jakov. We are proud to have you on our team!
